The 0411 PCM has a much faster processor than the Black Box PCM and has dual timing tables. There is also more support from the tuning software companies for the 0411. You might find a universal harness meant for ls swaps, but it would likely require swapping in your connectors. These arent really peanut ports. I have got a 2000 Corvette with a OS 12593359 which only has 2 custom OS available whereas a friend has a 2000 with OS 9381344.I want to swap the black box from the Blazer to a 0411 PCM. I have already emailed Lextech asking for pinouts for this application. I would like to know if there is an advantage to pinning the new PCM and tuning as an Express Van, as some have done, or if I am best to pin and tune as a 2002 Blazer. When the 0411 first came back from Black Bear, there was only 22 deg at wot. Cruise timing was way low too, mid 20's rather than mid 30's. I sent it back with the data logs and asked for more timing. They did add cruise timing, but wot is still 22.0. For the record there is no trace of knock.

From all the research I have done it is easier to swap in the 2001 and newer pcm rather than the 1998-2000 pcm. If any of you guys end up wanting to do the swap …

This is as fitted to the 1996 C4.
