Yep. Instead of fixing game-breaking bulls***, level 4 merchants, etc, they patched out a cap exploit. Stay classy, Bethesda. It probably wasn't patched out on purpose. They probably fixed some other s*** that fixed that exploit. Why would they leave the other cap exploit and dupes in if they were fixing s*** like that.

Got the information off the fallout wikia, and used 32,769 chips. That specific number is about the highest amount you can get according to the wikia. It says if you get, say, 33,000 chips and try it, you only get about -32,000 to use. And if you do try this, the wikia advises you save before you drop the chips as they might disappear.
