Typically, it is because of one of the following: Insufficient computer resources (hardware not powerful enough for certain media, media files are long in duration).The simplest solution is to use a virtual audio device. It can point to any of the physical devices and as long as the virtual device is set as default in windows FFXIV will use it so you can switch devices without relogging.
