To my horror, found the driver's side floor carpet wet in the back, adjacent to the midgate, and some drops on the plastic part of the midgate just adjacent.Remove the midgate glass. Push down on the button in the center of the cross bar. This will allow the midgate to be lowed without the latch reinforcement cross bar. Refer to the illustration above. Remove the latch reinforcement cross bar from the vehicle. Turn the handle clockwise as seen in the illustration above.
