F150 4 inch lift with 33s.
Theoretically the OEM shocks won't control the extra tire weight as well as with the OEM tires. Practically, no need to change shocks unless you want to or feel the need to. Some people say the OEM shocks are junk; I find no issues with 33" tires on OEM FX4 Sport shocks at 8 years old and 45k miles.
35's look better under 6" of lift. Better make sure you include the cost of re-gearing in there as well. Leaving stock 3.55:1 gears and moving up to 33's let alone 35's will turn a Bronco into a gelding in short order. Though my BS was 3.75 and the tires are 33x14s. Wish I had taken a better pic of it with the lift and no trimming. Heck even with the trimming my back is close to hitting the fender lip at full flex.
If you must lift a 2wd then you are going to need a 4 inch I am sure for 35s. I would think you could make 33s work on a level kit. Oct 20, 2013 · IMO 35" tires w/ a 4inch lift is the best combo. 33" tires look almost to small to me on just a level like others have eluded. But regardless of what others think, its your truck so put on the setup that you like and can afford. the 305/55 trail grapplers are 33.4 tall and 12.6 wide. They are a fairly big tire.
