For early to Mid-game, around 30 SPM is what you're looking for. For late game, you only need 1600 Purple and 1300 Yellow. Don't build to 30/45 SPM. That's a lot of time being spent building. For the end game, build rocket components as you do the final research. Works good enough. My other advice is to buffer stuff. This is not recommended for normal play, since it hides bottlenecks. In the No Spoon case, you want to hide bottlenecks.

I'm coming up on 150 hours on game time in Factorio and I have been playing with my girlfriend who is almost at 100 hours now. We decided to attempt the There is No Spoon challenge together without any preparation at all going into it, and I'm pleased to say we succeeded with a whole 30 minutes to spare!

I had 12 assemblers each for red, green, and blue science for my successful run. You want to crank your way to rocket tech ASAP. More raw materials.
