Ford fusion stalling recall.
Oct 2, 2019 · I have a 2014 Ford Fusion EcoBoost 1.5L. It’s stalling and rpms go up and down real fast when I press down on gas. Also when going uphill it does the same thing. My friend had the same thing going on with his car it was an EcoBoost as well. They said it was the mass air flow sensor.

I took it to the dealer last year and they said it was a fuel pressure sensor so ok replaced, then a few months ago they said it went bad and also recommended cleaning the valves and then that was $700~ total.The purpose of the purge valve is to draw fuel vapors generated in the fuel tank, opening up to allow those vapors to be drawn into the engine to be burned. When not in use, the valve should be closed, and when it isn’t, it tends to throw a lean or rich code.
