2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working.

Mar 8, 2013 · I have a 2003 chevy trailblazer, the dash vents will not produce air flow. I saw the fix here of removing the fuses and I did it four times with various positions on the control for the air vent position. Air blows from the floor and defrost and it does switch between them with the control knob. Before I broke the motor, I noticed that no matter what I did to the controls, the HVAC system was stuck moving air from the defroster and lower heater vents. The dealer diaged it as the mode door actuator, anyone have info on how to get to it in the center console ...Vents on dash will not blow air all other vents work great, ... i have a 2006 chevy trailblazer that wont blow air form the upper vents, blows from defrost, and floor,,,,i was told it is a faulty blend door actuator or a mode door actuator. but which is it im comf ...Ac not working at all I had paid someone to change out my factory stereo in my 07 chevrolet trailblazer. All, This weekend, I replaced my fuel level sending unit on my 2006 1SS. As part of that process, I disinfected the negative battery terminal. After reconnecting the battery, I noticed that only the floor and defrost vents will work now, depending on what setting the knob on the HVAC is set to. The dash vents do not work on either side.

Start at the reservoir ball and go from there. Trace it to the manifold and to the firewall. It could also be behind the dash too.
