A 248 ( M block ) could be bored up to the parent bore diameter of the 264 block and then putting in thin wall sleeves it would be stepped up a 281.

The serial stamps the engine to be a Plain old M but someone must of bored it out to a Super M because my piston bore size is 3.999 inches. I need to get a new head gasket but don"t know what to get.
