I'm looking over ballistics tables over on the Federal site, the 124 gr stuff seems to have an energy advantage at short range versus the 147 gr stuff. Personally, I go heavy for caliber. In my Shield, this gives me an advantage because heavier bullets loose less percentage of their velocity than lighter bullets.
