#1 · May 16, 2022. I have this loud kicking noise under the car. Only happens during acceleration above 2000rpms. It's not the motor I rev that up well over that during park and it idles smooth. The transmission fluid is dirty and icky and the p0717 speed sensor code is on. Replaced the sensor and the code came back still.

When it gets cold out the poping creeking sounds comes from the passenger front of the car. Its kind of like a poping creeking sound on take off only. I've done lower control arms, rack and pinion, and both fron hub assembly's and still the sound. The noise resembles a click with a thump followed by a trickling, shutter or flapping noise like a flap or valve is bouncing around after each click. The noise completely stops after about the 3rd click unless I restart the car or turn the AC on and off. Regardless, the air flow/strength and temperature seem unaltered. I'm sort of confused.
