I'd suggest switching your bulb from one side to the other to see if it's the bulb causing the hyper-flash. If you have LEDs, you'll need load resistors. Nick C.

Ok, so I know when you have hyper-flash from one side or the other on a turn signal that is usually an indicator of a blown bulb... Well what else could be going wrong? So far my left turn signal has worked properly 1/2 the time. The other half it hyper flashes and the front side barely lights up. The right side works fine so I don't assume it is the flasher module.

The tool fits in the lip of the stock flasher. I used the GL flasher (not the JL) without the adapter. The GL flasher has the correct polarity without the adapter. No hyper flashing with led bulbs.
