I like the sub because they often knock the overly religious ideals, but I understand atheism can be pretty radical and this sub shows it. Still I'm all for the stories of people turning away from religion because they couldn't match their personal morals (ie LGBT rights, covid safety, etc) with the general discourse of their church or religious relatives.
