I tweaked the extractor tension down and that mostly eliminated the problem, but it still occasionally occurred. Took it to my 1911 smith. Test and tune your extractor tension on your workbench - LINK1 LINK2. If your extractor tension seems correct but you are still experiencing ejection or feeding issues, the problem might be the extractor geometry. Modifying extractor geometry involves using a file to remove material and shape the extractor.
