What’s weird about the Lament is it works like it should sometimes, and other times, it’s tracking become no existent from out of nowhere and i whiff the enemy i was attacking. Destroying my DPS from the Combo i was using. It happens randomly but really irritating when it decides to do that.
I remember Lament+Stronghold+Ward of Dawn being the play back in Lost trying to solo Master Grasp of Avarice’s Ogre boss. Sword keeps you from getting stomped to Architect death, keeps you healed, hits hard with Lucent Blade, and with good parries the normally instant death of the eye beams was manageable. Aside from Lament, Black Talon with 2x heavy is the only one capable of competing with Bequest. Lament (unsurprisingly) is capable of the highest DPS of all swords. Best Lament combo for DPS is the 3 revved lights -> 1 revved heavy -> 2 normal lights combo. There are three swing animations in a typical sword. The 3l+1h combo outdpses the 5l+1h in a sustained dps phase, the 3l+1h has higher burst dps and the 3l+1h has better total damage. Edit: the only time 5l+1h is atraks and thats very specific as thats wont allow the 3l+1h combo to go again but will alow the 5l+1h to possibly do it.
