Jun 7, 2021 · Put the plug in just like you would normally insert it. Tilt it at at angle till it catches the ledge of the white part. Will be about a half inch from the top. While holding the black part push down on the white part. Once they're seperate stick something in between to keep them apart while you remove the plug. The plug is just a piece of 1/4" wooden dowel, 8-7/8" long with a couple of rubber "O" rings on it (to limit rattling). That is for the standard Mossberg 500A. If you need to get one, a trip to the hardware store and a couple of bucks will set you up.
