Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.

I have an 06 Xterra OR, manual tranny. Lately the VDC and Slip light have been turning on intermittently. Last trip to the dealer, they could not find a problem, said the brake fluid was a little low and the batter was low as well. Well it happened today on the way to work again. Pulled out from a red light, the battery indicator came on and my Xterra died. After a few minutes I got it going and drove it home. The SES, VDC OFF and SLIP indicators are on. The battery is old so I had it tested (very weak) and replaced it. Started back up, ran a few seconds then died. Dash indicators are still on. Any thoughts on what …

Vehicle: 2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x (35k total miles) with lift and 295 tires. Have had lift and tires now about 30k no issues. When I start the Xterra I have the "Diff lock" and "VDC off" lights. As soon as I turn my wheel (about 45-90 degrees) the "diff lock" light turns off. Then the ABS, VDC Off, SLIP lights turn on.I've purchased a 2005 xterra, GREAT vehicle. Since I've had it [purchased 12/2005] the 'VDC oFF' & 'SLIP' indicator lights have came ON and stayed ON until Reset by procedure in manual. Took it to the dealer, they 'reset' the code/module. Not even a week later, the lights are back on. It's a bit annoying - not even 2000 miles on it yet.Most alignment shops won't do this. If the steering angle sensor is way off, the VDC light will stay on and the system will not work at all. If it is only slightly off, it can confuse the computer.
