Once the weight limit was increased the Shadow 2 OR became available (and allowed) that does not have any slide lightening cuts and it shoots pretty good as is. My guess is the slide lightening cuts alone take off 2-3 oz. The way they mill the plate system it is almost as deep as the milled into the slide dots. CZC uses locating posts so you don't have to worry about the screws sheering.
