I personally can't choose between those two. I like the Uchigatana from its look (I'm a katanafan) more than Kilij, but Kilij swings faster and uses less stamina per swing. It does a bit less dmg per hit, but the DPS would be much higher. dmljr 14 years ago #3. quality anything stinks anything else is better even base +10, the extra 20% bonus from str is not worth the loss of the base damage. people perfer sharp and tearing to mercury because of the higher damage dealt, poison is not that useful on a weapon, poison cloud has a much higher inflict rate.

Normally people use +5 sharp uchi in the right and hiltless in the left. Having two +5 uchis in both hands is actually better though, it’s just difficult to craft two of them.
