The drawers each have a lever under that handle that needs to be pulled to unlock the drawer. I simply removed the mechanism that locks the drawers so I can open them when the top lid is closed. My back lock levers under lid that should release drawers when lid is open are stuck and do not "pop up" when lid is open.

There is no "series 2" emblem on the series 2 boxes. The series 2 boxes have a chromed "stylized" logo. Series 1 logo was more "squared off".
