I am pocket carrying my P365, with Federal HST, 147+P grain ammo and wanted to lighten it up, so I bought a box of Liberty Civil Defense ammo, to see how it would do for function and accuracy. I am new to Sig, new to P365, new to polymer frames and new to striker fired center fires. Got a brand new 365 and went to fire at 25 yards with federal hst 124 grain and 147 grain. The 147 grain shot nice at 25 yards with impact right about the top machined flat of the front sight.

They have become my EDC's, not both at the same time, and I am very pleased with them. With a MagGuts +2 spring kit, I get 15 rounds out of their 12-round mags with one in the pipe.

Dec 10, 2023 · UNCLICKABLE Discussion starter. 1) On some P365 models the MS lever can be engaged when the gun is not charged, sometimes. On others, only when it's charged. 2) Sig made some changes to the FCU couple of years back and new models apparently only allow the MS lever to be engaged only when gun is charged. I have never heard of Sig acknowledging any issues other than a bad batch of strikers but I probably couldn't find the source. There is evidence that Sig has made "rolling" changes to improve the P365. Most "return to battery", "dead trigger", and barrel peening issues seem to have been minimized greatly.. I have both a P365 and a P938 SAS (gen 1). On a practical level (capacity) I prefer the P365; on every other level (aesthetics, all-metal, grips, overall quality feel) I prefer the P938. The Crimson Trace on the P365 is flat ugly.Other sources, NRA for example, uses two to four as the number. A lot of gun battles have been ended with five and six round revolvers. An eight to ten round P365 in .357 SIG would be sufficient, assuming that one always carries a reload (as one should regardless of capacity). If you live a relatively "normal" life that doesnt involve running into bad guys, or live in a bad neighborhood then the P365 would be a perfect gun for home defense. If you live in a rough neighborhood then maybe Id go with something a bit more substantial.

There are many videos on youtube on how to change the module. I swoped from an original p365 to XL wilson combat grip module.
