I just installed a 228/230 cam (Sloppy stage 2) yesterday, and im extremely new to tuning. i had copied a base tune that seemed to be pretty conservative timing wise, but after cruising around town for a while, i seem to be having a major knock issue. im running 91 octane fuel, and the engine is bone stock with the exception of of the new cam and pac 1218 valve springs.The summit stage 2 pro ls turbo cam is my favorite street car cam. I think it would work great in just about anything, na and boosted. 2 deg of overlap, so it will drive super clean for daily purposes too. If a 4.8 I'd just grab the stage 1 turbo cam.
