Retested this morn. The phone does say it is connected and Bluetooth appears on the Acadia's dash info screen. It will not recognize a name. It sometimes will recognize numbers, but not names. It works to say - "Tune to 104.5 FM" or "Tune to XM 81". but I can't get it to work right for the call feature. I can also manually select a number from my contacts on the Intellilink Screen and it will call fine. I took it to the Buick Service Center.
The one I could not sort had a hardware fault message. The new headset was not listed in EPC but was a supersession on GM part finder but I could not program it at all. I suspect there is a parts problem with supersession and the new part is not compatible with the existing hardware or that there is a programming issue.
