The MD86 rifles use the 6x4 bayonet and will not fit the 6x3 bayonet. There WERE two different 6x3 bayonets used by Romania. The most common has the 'bulged' pommel and the early ones, early 60s production, mimic the rest of the 6x3 bayonets we're used to seeing.
