Hello, Can you tell us what size ridge beam we would need to span 13' 6"? It would be supporting 2x6 rafters, 24 inches on center that will be sistered on to the existing 2x4's on a gable roof. The length of the rafters from peak to the top plate of the building is 10 feet on each side.
