Spear builds hades.
The second fastest Hades speedrun was achieved with a melee Achilles build, so clearly that is extremely strong as well, but I use it exclusively as a cast weapon. If all you're buffing with the +150% damage boost is 3 or 4 casts then 4 moves is plenty.
There are so many builds it's hard to say. General rule of thumb is to go Zeus/Dioynsus for fast attacks, Artemis/Aphrodite/Athena for higher base damage attacks, and Ares doom for something in between. So Zeus might be useful for attack (especially if you get the Flurry Jab hammer) and Ares/Zeus for the special. Hades Spear Build - Aspect of Zagreus Hammer Upgrades. Throw the spear, bullrush so you land behind the enemy, turn around, cast as many times as you can. The enemy should be dead by then or at least have taken a ton of damage. Artemis or Chaos boon for more bloodstones helps.
It it THE best Achilles Spear for cast builds imo. I tried cast builds like Hunting Blades, Blizzard Shot with Sea Storm, Crystal Clarity (beam), Ice Wine with Scintillating Feast, and even Freezing Vortex. Believe me, it works too well. Necro, but I'm impressed with others' builds. I felt that Rama was the easiest to try 32 heat at. Dionysus special, Aphro attack and go for Low Tolerance and Bad Influence. Add Achilles and Fiery Presence and it does around 520-600 damage on the first hit, in a large area. For one cast. Possibly by the third room of the game. BTW, Hades spear's effect does not increase the damage of spin attacks, only regular attacks and special. "That is why war is so tragic.

I'm using hades aspect myself, but really, for tidal dash build, any weapon with ... Hades Aspect is overall the best and least intrusive Weapon Aspect. Achilles Aspect is hard to play but makes for very strong cast builds if the stars align. Remember that you can use your dash while charging your charge attack. Allows you to get some momentum when you unleash the attack that way.
