I had the zf5 5 speed tranny and 33s. 4th gear in that tranny is 1:1 like your 3rd gear is and I was able to go 60mph in 4th, really high rpm mind you. Something else to think about here.

My owners manual doensn't list a C9. It has a C5, B9, and H9. Since everything with a 9 in the second place has 3.55, I'm assuming it has 3.55's.
