My Glock experience is limited to the 43x and 48 but fairly extensive with those pistols. When I got my 43x which was the first, I did the "25¢ triigger job" on it before put the first round through it. Obvioulsly one would make sure it was clean and lubed before putting it all back together. Fill up a 5 gallon paint bucket with hot water and dawn throw the frame in there and let soak scrub and repeat .
