Received the trigger one day early and in 1/2 hour had it on and tuning it to my preferences. Have a nice crisp trigger that breaks at 10 Ounces on my Savage 110. Watch the video, it works and was a breeze to install. Would certainly recommend this trigger as an upgrade over the Accu-trigger.
The accu-trigger is great for punching paper, or varmint hunting, but for deer or any other type of hunting its just too hard to get used to the take up before pulling the actual trigger. They do make a replacement trigger for the guns with the accu-trigger. To adjust the trigger weight higher, rotate the knob clockwise. You will feel a click when it is set to the maximum. To adjust the trigger weight lower, rotate the knob counterclockwise. Insert the slotted end of the provided AccuTrigger tool into the slot behind the trigger guard and rotate until you feel the slot engage the end of the spring. To adjust the trigger weight higher, rotate the tool clockwise. You will feel a click when it is set to the maximum. To adjust the trigger weight lower, rotate the tool counterclockwise.

The Varmint/Tactical Accu-Trigger spring is the easiest, cheapest and safest way to get down to around a 1.5 lb Accu-Trigger. There is a reason savage designed and included the blade on the accutrigger. Most accutrigger owners have had a "lockup" when closing the bolt - without the blade, that would of been a slam fire. There are mechanical reasons why this applies to Savage much more so than Remington or Winchester and it comes down to geometry.

To start the 6oz accu-trigger uses the same spring as a vamint accu-trigger, (silver) the diference is in the sear. the lighter accu-trigger sear is identified by a dimple on the side under the bolt release flag. As far as buying the spring, or even the 6oz sear, you may be disapointed as no one sells them, and Savage will not sell them either.
