Shot 1 1/8 AA hull, WAA12 Wad, Win 209 18.4gr at 1255 fps, Fed 1 1/8 CB2118-12, 209A 20.0gr 1255 fps. It also had recipes for Ched hulls and primers. It's a little cheaper than the 700X I run now for 1255. Lefty319.

When I was running them at 1210 (measured over a chrono) I was getting a lot of unburned powder - although the chrono numbers were consistent.Reloading Powders. You could load just about anything you want using only Titewad and Federal and Win primers. Use the Feds in the lighter loads and the Wins in the heavier loads.

All my loads are 1 oz, 1180 FPS. I have reloaded 7/8 and 9/8 loads and they work fine with same components and powders, but I favor the 1 oz, 8's, 7-1/2 or duplex loads, 50/50 mix. I have also found E3 and Promo excellent powders when I could not get my favorite Hodgdon powders.I fooled with titewad a lil and used published data for 9mm & 45acp, was not happy with it as at start loads it would sometimes have a slight hangfire & when at max or if a load went .1gr over it gave weird pressure signs. I shot 19.2 grains of the original clays w/ a CB-6100 and a Rio primer in Fiocchi, and Rio hulls for a long time before Clays disappeared. 20 grains of Clays is where you want to be with that cooler Fiocchi Fio 616 primer. In 9m Luger, using a 124 grain bullet a max load of 3.4 grains gives 924 FPS at a pressure of 32,200 psi. SAAMI pressure limit for 9mm Luger is 35,000 psi. This powder has been around a while. It was developed as a shotgun power which used low charge weights to reduce recoil in standard velocity target loads.
